PREFACE

This book ‘Philosophical Foundations of Education’ is specially written for the B.Ed. students of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. According to the newly prescribed syllabus, The book attempts to provide an extensive as well as an in-depth analysis of the various problems of education in India, in their Constitutional, Philosophical, Sociological and Global perspectives. In this sense, this book will also be useful to the students of education of other neighbouring and Indian Universities.

In this book, we have tried to present the standard and latest subject matter in a lucid style and simple language. The different concept are made simple and understandable to the students.
